Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC was born March 4, 1954. O'Hara is the proud recipient of several prizes, including an award called the Genie Award. In 2018, she was appointed an Officer of Canada. Then, in 2020, she received the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara first became known as an actress when she was part of The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. She was part of the main cast on the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) together with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara and Candy started work on Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara won a Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for her writing in the Outstanding category for Variety Series. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the brand-new Second City artistic advisory board led by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura, Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
