Her most well-known work is her parts in Spamalot's West End revival, the Regent's Park revival of Into the Woods as well as The Wizard of Oz (as the Wicked Witch of the West). Her work has garnered three Olivier Award nominations. In 2015, she joined Game of Thrones' fifth series as Septa Unella. Additionally she played the lead role in the role of Septa Unella in the 2012 film adaptation of Les Miserables. Waddingham was nominated to the Golden Globe Award.
